Today, I went on an amazing tour of the Center for the Intrepid, here at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. I don’t know what I expected, but what I found there was so much more amazing than anything I could have imagined.
The Center for the Intrepid (known around here as CFI) was built entirely with private donations as a state of the art, multi-discipline rehabilitation facility for servicemembers learning to cope with life changing injuries, specifically burns and amputations. Calling it a rehab facility does not do it justice. It is a research laboratory, a virtual reality testing and training grounds, a prosthesis production center, and the absolute best physical training facility I have ever encountered. It does not feel like a hospital, it feels like an athletic training center that would make Olympic athletes proud. I cannot even begin to describe the technology and creativity involved… I’m just in awe of it.
This is due to various factors: weight, age, cardiovascular disease, and urinary problems. You should never increase https://missourifreeclinics.org/valium/ the dose. This is fraught with serious health problems.
I’m not going to talk about the servicemembers there, so don’t even ask… I just wanted to say how absolutely amazing the facility is, and to thank everyone who donated money to make it happen, as well as the staff who make serving these intrepid servicemembers not just a job, but a calling.
Thank you.
